The most beautyful mountains in the world….

The Dolomites, named after the French geologist Deodat de Dolomieu, have been a part of the renowned world heritage since 2009.

With its incomparable beauty, the “sheer mountains” enchanted UNESCO as much as they did the poet Geothe, the extreme mountain climber Reinhold Messner, and the famed architect Le Corbusier. Sharp peaks, precipitous ridges, and steep rock faces glowing in a deep red in the evening light, to go on ghrough orange and purple to gently accompany the darkness of the night. The Alpine glow, known in the local language as Enrosadira, is made possible by the unique composition of the dolomite rock. A true wonder of nature.

No are of the Alps is so rich in sagas an legends as the Dolomites. The national epic of the Ladins tells, for example, of a realm form long ago, the realm of the Fanes, of princes and princesses and their alliances with the marmot people.
